God’s Intellect

Jesus was known to possess great intellect. He could stupefy even the most learned person of His time. This was true in a number of cases: may it be the question regarding marriage in Heaven(Matthew 22:28-33) or the greatest commandment(Matthew 22:35-40) or paying taxes(Matthew 22:15-22).

Many of His Saints possessed great intellectual abilities too. St Edith Stein was known to be a highly educated woman everywhere she would go. Her talks were most cherished and much is recorded about her knowledge or dialogues on philosophy. She astounded people.

Jesus always wants a generation of people to be inspired by Him. And what greater imitators of Him than His Saints can bring about that.
