Wisdom of Yore

There is hope for everyone who believes in the Lord. He does a new thing with His Providence(Isaiah 43:19) and our hope will not be cut off(Proverbs 23:18). What we need to do is only persevere in the faith and remain faithful to Him; He will shut the mouths of lions if we do this(Daniel 6:22).

Jesus suffered in the hope of the glory that was before Him; He did not lose faith. St Maximilian Kolbe lived being faithful to Mother even during the persecution in concentration camps. His face was cheerful even amidst this torture and later he offered himself for another person’s life.

Hope is what keeps us going. It does not disappoint us and is the end of all things for us Christians(Romans 5:3-5).
