Wisdom of Yore

God’s healing in his people’s lives takes its own time. He makes everything beautiful in his time(Ecclesiastes 3:11). His promises may take time, but are sure and amen(2 Cor 1:20).

Wherever prayers are offered to God, there is hope(Proverbs 23:18). Our duty is to pray without ceasing(1 Thes 5:17). Many Saints prayed constantly. St Faustina Kowalska used to pray almost constantly in her cell. Her favourite prayer was the Divine Mercy Chaplet which was made popular through her diary.

Let’s be in prayers of ourselves and of others because it is the will of God for us. Even Heaven offers constant prayers(Psalm 84:4).
