Wisdom of Yore

Heresies have been plaguing the Catholic Church since the birth of the same almost two millennia ago. But all of them were forthrightly dealt with. Many of its rich Saints battled against this confusion and affiliation.

Many Saints were born to counter these. Early on, it was St Augustine of Hippo; then St Thomas Acquinas; followed by St Dominic Guzmann in no particular order.

The first Saint battled Manichaeism; the second presumably atheists; and the third, Albigensianism. All of these were highly effective. These things waned down from existence.

God brings such holy people time and again to save his beloved Church. All of this, as others say, is history.
