Wisdom of Yore

God loves everyone dearly. He considers all the people his children. The word of God even asks us to grant people who slap on one cheek to turn them the other cheek too. The same goes to another who asks for your coat. He suggests us to offer our cloak as well [Matthew 5:39,40].

This deep love of God was evident in his Saints’ lives too. St Martin Porres, whenever saw hungry and begging people, went all the way to help them.

Once his mother gave him a small amount of money to buy food for themselves. On the way, he saw a beggar and gave the whole bread he bought from that money. He was very compassionate and there are great miracles happening because of his intercession, even to this day.

Everyone is called to be a Saint and these rich examples are enough to inspire others to do the same. God provides.
