Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere(Psalm 84:10). This was true in the lives of many Saints. They lived a short life, but it was an eventful enough one for the glory of God. He willed it to be so.
To enumerate: St Therese of Lisieux lived for 24 years on this Earth; St Faustina Kowalska, 33 years; St Alphonsa, 35 years. This was because God was pleased with them and did not want them to be corrupted because of the evil world(Genesis 5:24).
God should be pleased in all ways. This can be our life’s goal to be with Him eternally. If God is for us, who can be against us(Romans 8:31).
