Wisdom of Yore

God is faithful and shows his unfailing love to thousands of generations, slow to anger [Exodus 34:6]. He makes his Sun rise and rain shower on both the evil and the just [Matthew 5:45]. He doesn’t want to lose righteous persons even if there are only 10 of them in the lot [Genesis 18:32].

He wants everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth [1Timothy 2:4] and has come that we may have life abundantly [John 10:10]. For this reason, he is waiting for the weeds that the enemy has planted to grow till harvest time [Matthew 13:24-30].

He is the gardener and gathers weeds to burn in the furnace, but grain into the barn. We are the salt of the earth. If we lose the saltiness, it should be thrown outside to trample under the feet [Matthew 5:13].
