God of Surprises

Our God is a God of Surprises. He works in every person according to the right time and His will. He never leaves His chosen. We need to please Him and have a heart after Him like King David(1Sam 13:14).

Some Saints were very lacking in their spiritual life and had a bad past. St Camillus de Lellis was a vagabond and a drunkard. But God intervened in his life at the right time and completely transformed him for His glory.

St Augustine too found that God was working in him even during his sinful years. He was believing in a pagan religion called Manichaeism. His mother St Monica’s prayers and St Ambrose’s prophecy saved him to be the great Saint that he is now.

Time is God’s creation. He works through it rather than suddenly. He has a purpose for it(Acts 1:7).
