Saints and God: Intense Communication

The communication between God and his Saints was intense. They used to be lost in prayers for hours together at a time unmindful of their surroundings and people peeping into this activity.

A priest in prayer

This was true in the life of St Martin Porres. His landlady was peeping into his room to see what was going on as the room was lit during late night. She was shocked to see that St Martin was in a trance with his arms stretched wide and kneeling with tears in his eyes. His gaze was on the altar in his home.

He is one of the Saints with a lot of miracles attributed to him even today. It’s a great honour for him.

God loves and honours his Saints.
