Wisdom of Yore

Many of God’s people would trust in his Providence and risk everything for his call. The dangers awaiting them while doing this will of his did not discourage them. They took great risks towards spreading of the gospel to remote places.

One of the great Saints, St Francis Xavier, volunteered to go on a journey to Japan. This far away nation and the dangerous journey with shipwrecks did not make him think otherwise. He fulfilled his mission and brought the love of Jesus to many in Japan and died during his departure from this Country.

God worked through him amidst all these dangers. Faith can work.
