Wisdom of Yore

God won’t leave any of his faithful into troubles and stays away from them. He gives such people graces so that they can remain less irritated and not feel there is a great burden on them. His yoke is easy and burden is light(Matthew 11:30).

This was true in many Saints who received the Stigmata from the Lord. It is recorded in the life of St Pio of Pietrelcina that he had a constant fever of 118 degrees. It was approved by many competent medical professionals of the time.

But even through this, he could bear it. That grace in suffering is indescribable and comforting.
