It is good to be under an authority. All authority is from God(Romans 13:1). In Godly terms, God works through these people to accomplish his will in the world. Some people bring about a fire in people’s lives towards God.
These are his Saints. St Francis of Assisi helped the Church in ending heresies or conflicting denominations that were rising against the Church. His life was very austere or poor and holy. So much so that he was called the second Christ. After his life, he succeeded in containing the faithful in the Church.
The Saints of God inspire a generation. A great number of people are impacted by their lives.
