God is present with his holy people all the time. He guides them day and night(Exodus 13:21). His Saints were such as these. Miracles and visitations were an usual thing for them.
St Gerard Majella was asked by someone known to him about his whereabouts since he was not seen for a long time. He replied pointing to the grotto that he was playing with a beautiful lady and her child.
Everyone can strive to be thus- like their Saints.
