Cares of this world make us worrisome and troubled. Jesus says that we should not worry about what we eat or dress or drink (Mt 6:34). It is not needed for eternal life.
Many Saints were forced to give up their priestly vocation for their family. But they overcame it. These were situations like no one to care or be a support for their family of aged parents. Nonetheless, they remained true to their vocation even amidst this.
If Saints suffer martyrdom too, God gives their loved ones grace to cope up with the loss. It will all be in his plan to do good (Romans 8:28).
Worries just bog us down.
