Holiness is a currency for heaven. If a person wants to reach here, he has to wear the garment of holiness. Otherwise, the entry is rejected. Or more precisely, the person who reaches the gates of heaven—being unqualified—is thrown out into the outer darkness, where there is weeping gnashing of teeth [Mt 22:13].
Imagine what would happen if someone attended a person’s wedding wearing rags and torn clothes. He would meet the same fate as the person in the above paragraph.

The Church or faithful are collectively, the bride of Christ. Heaven is the wedding banquet or a place of celebration. Wear what befits this great feast.
