Wisdom of Yore

God loves sinners, but hates sin. He gives them ample opportunity to repent so that he can forgive their sins (Mt 23:37). Many times, these people build a wall of their own sins so that he cannot hear prayers (Is 30:13).

He came down on earth in the form of a man for the sake of sinners. By this way, he could be closer to them (Mt 27:51) and they may have life abundantly (John 10:10).

Zacchaeus (Lk 19:9,10), the immoral woman (Lk 7:48,50), paralyzed man (Mk 2:5) and many others received forgiveness for their sins from him.

We should seek him faithfully with a willing heart to repent just like the prodigal son (Lk 15:11-32).
