Wisdom of Yore

Holiness is what God wants from us. For he is holy, we also should be holy (1 Peter 1:16). The oil (Mt 25:1-12) and the wedding garment (Mt 22:1-13) are needed for us to enter into his kingdom. Otherwise we will be stopped at the pearly gates and denied entry.

Many Saints strove for holiness and died a martyr’s death. One of these was St Maximilian Kolbe. He was close to Mother and unique among the prisoners in the concentration camps. Prisoners saw holiness in him and a serene peace.

Everybody can emulate these holy people’s lives of heroic virtues.
