Wisdom of Yore

The Saints were all not born with perfection and holiness. Some were gravely into sin. But others were very mild in it. They slowly grew in virtues and the great Saints they have become today.

It was a journey. St Therese of Lisieux was recorded to have thrown tantrums and a fit of rage or anger during her childhood. Her nanny once revealed this.

Though, as it is said, ‘Every Saint has a past and every sinner a future’, this does not mean ‘every Saint’. Some Saints had a very wild past.

But, nonetheless, they are great Saints and blessed people of God.
